Located in the French département of la Savoie (and more precisly in the vallée de la Tarentaise), the 3 vallées resorts are well served and quickly reachabled from the main towns of the Rhône Alpes région, by car, train or even plane.

The 3 vallées resorts are located around 2 hours away from Lyon driving and (in opposite to other French resorts) are easily and quickly reachable from big roads.

Indeed, if the autoroute A43 (French motorway) coming from Chambéry/Lyon stops in Albertville, a 2x2 freeway (N90) allows to link without paying fees the Olympic town to Moutiers (real « camp de base » of 3 vallées) in around 20 minutes.

The Moutiers train station is located at the bottom of the 3 vallées resorts (photo bellow). So you should choose this one as the final station while you booked your ticket.

TGV and other international and national trains (TER, Corail, Eurostar, Thalys…) go through this train station. During all the ski season, there are a lot of departures/arrivals from and to numerous French towns.

The closed 3 airports are: Chambery-Volgans, Geneve-Cointrin, Lyon-Saint Exupery

Many companies use these airports. Do not hesitate to go on each company website to know the fees and schedules that suit you.
