Discover Val Thorens, the highest european ski resort

The ski area of Val Thorens / Orelle is made of 31 ski lifts for 67 ski runs.

With a combine lenght of almost 140 km, the slopes are at 270° arounf the resort, thanks to the location of the resort in the highest side of the valley. This diversity in the orientation will allowed you to find sun all day long or even to find a more or less worked snow.

At the highest side of the long valley of the Bellevilles, Val Thorens is, at 2300 m, the highest resort in Europe.

Its heigh and its location at the foot of the massive Péclet Polset moutain range (3500 m!) have a big part to play in the young and sporty atmosphere of Val Thorens. Surrounded with glaciers and snow-capped peaks doing a real natural circus, the coutrysides and visibled from the resort plunge you in the universe of the high moutain.
